The host
A homeowner, primary leaseholder, or organizer welcoming people into a home. Hosts want boundaries respected and shared costs recorded fairly without having to chase anyone.
Kouchd · Brand and design
The Kouchd identity is warm, homey, calm, and capable. This guide collects the voice, visual foundations, logo files, and artwork in one place.
01 · Story and purpose
When friends, couples, or extended families share a home, cabin, or weekend stay, forgotten agreements and unclear household costs can create subtle friction. Spreadsheets feel cold, and group chats can bury the details.
Kouchd brings warmth, privacy, and gentle transparency to private households. It gives people a calm place to keep expectations clear, so hosts do not need to repeat themselves and guests can feel welcome.
“A calm, private shared-stay workspace where everyone knows what to expect, what to contribute, and how to relax together.”
02 · People and principles
A homeowner, primary leaseholder, or organizer welcoming people into a home. Hosts want boundaries respected and shared costs recorded fairly without having to chase anyone.
A friend, family member, or housemate staying in someone else’s home. Guests want to be considerate and understand the house routines, stay plans, and shared costs.
A welcoming feel that respects the intimacy of sharing a home.
Private household spaces shared by invitation, without public stay listings.
Useful details written down so nobody has to repeat or guess.
A shared Ledger that keeps contributions visible without collection pressure.
03 · Voice and language
Say: “Added $45 for weekend groceries to the shared Ledger. Thanks for contributing!”
04 · Color system
Use forest for structure and trust, warm paper for calm surfaces, and lime for a clear accent. Keep text contrast strong; lime is an accent, not a text color on a light background.

05 · Typography
Use Manrope for headlines and primary interface text. Inter is the supporting UI typeface. Keep hierarchy clear, line lengths comfortable, and body text easy to read.
A calmer way to share a home.
06 · Logo and clearspace
Leave at least half the couch-mark height as clearspace. Keep the artwork in its original proportions and colors. Do not rotate, skew, stretch, add gradients, or add drop shadows.
07 · Existing artwork
The approved artwork is friendly and homey. Match light and inverse illustrations to their backgrounds, keep the original files intact, and use descriptive alternative text when the art adds meaning.
